If it weren't for bad luck,

how does that saying go? If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!?!? I haven't had a chance to get everything uploaded to the site because my main computer (which is a laptop) crashed. LOL, follow this story.... I leave for a quick weekend trip three weeks ago, and leave my oldest home alone. We decided it would be a good test for him... anyway, he asked if I would leave my laptop - he has a desktop and it is too difficult to take with him when he goes to friends' houses and they are gaming. Sooooo, my computer and a bunch of teenage boys, alone for the weekend. I come home, computer's not working. "I didn't do anything Mom, I swear." Heard that one before? Eventally I get it running again, but it lasts a few days at most and is down again...that's been my life for the past 3 weeks... up, down, up, down... LOL, down more than up. We "only" have 4 computers in this house, you would think it wouldn't be that big of a deal - but it's *MY* computer!! Long story short, we don't know what's wrong with it, other than we know it is NOT the hard drive... me thinks I am going to be getting a new computer any day now....

So we *did* get the Primas loaded, and also the new military stamps from Art Declassified. I still haven't gotten the inks up, or all the stamps and papers from Memory Box. Nor have I completed my orders yet - I am still trying to pick out more items.... :)

I will continue to work tonight, hope to have the inks up soon!

On a different note, look for the new Prima La Femmes to be in stock soon! I have it on good word that they got a shipment in, and I have a box out for delivery as I type this.

More to follow soon,

Karen

More New Additions

We got most of the new Primas loaded to the website. I will be adding Tsukineko inks tonight, as well as a bunch of new acrylic and rubber stamps, and various papers and cardstocks from Memory Box Co., and unmounted rubber military stamps from Art Declassified. I really don't think we'll be able to get all of it online tonight so keep checking back.

I will be taking a few minutes tonight to work on some 6x6 scrapbook pages for a friend on Splitcoast. Her husband's unit is in Iraq and they had a couple of pilots killed over the weekend. One of them had two small children, and Aubrey is going to be presenting them with tribute albums in memory of their father. I told her I would work on some pages and am looking forward to getting them together for her. Do me a favor, would you? If you see a member of our military, tell them "thanks." You'd be surprised how good it makes them feel, and how rarely they actually hear it.

Reflections and More

I hope you had an eventful and enjoyable holiday weekend. I hope also that you were able to take a moment and reflect on the reason that we have this holiday - in honor of those who have given their lives serving our great country. It's always a little somber around our house on Memorial Day. I won't lie - we enjoy having the day off and do usually BBQ or have friends over - yesterday we went to the San Diego Zoo all day - but we also take time to think about those gave all.... some that we knew personally.

On a different front, I had fun this weekend working on new orders... here's just a few things that are on the way - Tsukineko inks and glue pad; EZMount in two thincknesses - there is a new thin one for stamps such as SU! that are already mounted on foam - you don't have to peel the foam off, just layer it onto the thinner EZMount!; acrylic blocks, sticky strip in 3 widths, new Primas, some alterables and adorable 12x12 shadowboxes. On the horizon - more acrylic stamps, some rubber stamps (including military!) and more papers - 12x12, 6x6, patterned, solid, cards; brads in many colors, chipboard, and ribbons! Phew... I think that about sums it up. I'm working feverishly trying to get things loaded into the *Coming Soon!* section of the store. Look for the first additions to be in place later today!

What do you want to see?

I'm having fun at the moment figuring out what our next orders are going to be.... We've got some new paper lines coming in, some adhesives, gel pens, inks, stamps, embellies, etc., - start looking in the **Coming Soon!** section of paperosity to see what you can expect next!

Here's where you come in. As I am going through tons of catalogs and websites looking for new products, what would YOU like to see? What should we carry next?

Home Sweet Home

Do you ever get to the point that you just want to stay home!? My past three weeks have been something like this - April 28 - SCSM4 with a bunch of rowdy and hilariously fun stampers in Long Beach, CA. Can't wait to do it again! April 3-6 - a 7 hour drive to Prescott, AZ for Steve's college graduation (we're so proud of him!) in the SNOW - yup! outdoor ceremony and it started snowing! - and then another 7 hour drive home. This past weekend - April 11-13 - back to AZ (6 hours) for our best friend's graduation from nursing school and then home. LOL, no trips scheduled now until Father's Day weekend - we have to go to NoCal for my nephew's high school graduation.

I want to thank those of you who have ordered from us for your support. I know that lots of folks are looking and not ordering at this point. We're new, we're going to have to prove ourselves, and we don't have a huge variety of stock on hand yet. However, for those of you who have taken the chance and then spread the word, I will be forever grateful.

We have an order of Primas on the way and will probably be picking and ordering our next big purchases this weekend. Stay tuned for the reveal!

Yippee!! We're Official!

Wow, I feel like we're official now that we have our banner and logo! I'm so excited to finally now feel like we can advertise and try to really go somewhere with this. We also have all of our Memories in Uniform products in and they should be available for purchase starting tomorrow.

We also have a new college graduate in the house! Steve graduated from Embry-Riddle University Saturday - in the SNOW!! Outdoor ceremony - they predicted thunderstorms later in the day - but didn't expect it to snow on us in the morning! I don't think anyone will be forgetting this graduation any time soon.

Look for more product in the coming weeks - more Primas, more MME, and a few new things too!
